Computer Basics

Looking to learn more about your computer? Join us for Computer Basics! This is an introductory computer class series that will inform you about six different computer topics over seven weeks. Classes are held Saturdays at 11:00 am in Meeting Room C. Computers and equipment for each class are provided.

March 18 - Windows 10
This is a great class for those looking to learn how to use and navigate a computer using Windows 10, like the computers at the library.  

April 1 - Beginner Internet
This class is all about Wi-Fi, web surfing, and the general use of the Google Chrome browser.

April 8 - Email with Gmail
This class is an email primer that covers composing, receiving, and organizing an electronic mailbox using Gmail.

April 15 - Digital Resources
This is an introductory course on some of the digital services provided by your library and how to use them.

April 22 - Microsoft Word
This is a primer course on the uses and functions available in Microsoft Word. (Basic computer skills required.)

April 29 - Google Suite
This class introduces the general applications available through Google, how to navigate those applications, and some limited instruction on their function. (Basic computer skills required.)
