Mock Caldecott Interactive Display

Prepare for our Virtual Mock Caldecott by visiting the Children's Place and exploring 2021's best picture books! This interactive display features a carefully curated collction of 2021's best children's books. Explore picture books or storytime videos on our YouTube channel from our display's computer.

Readers and artists of all ages are welcome to browse these picture books and vote on their top twelve favorites. You can vote throughout the month of January, either in person at our interactive display or online by clicking here. Votes and books will be discussed in our Mock Caldecott on Saturday, January 22 at 2:00 pm. The Caldecott Award will be announced on Monday, January 24 by the American Library Association; join us that morning at 9:00 am for a watch party as we discover the winners!
