Summer Reading Program: Color Our World Kick-Off at Walbridge

Summer Reading Program: Color Our World Kick-Off at Walbridge

Join us as we kick off Summer Reading Program: Color Our World at the Walbridge Library! This year, we’re encouraging kids to color their world by exploring books throughout the summer. The more they read, the more prizes they can earn!

Hedwig, the Walbridge Library’s owl, will be turning 8 years old this summer. To honor him and the library’s 150th birthday, the Wood County Park District will join us to educate everyone on the fascinating world of owls. Learn about local owl species, what they sound like, and their adaptations to thrive as nocturnal predators. We’ll talk about how you can listen for them and find them in our parks and in your backyard!
