Meet the Author: Arigon Starr

Join us to meet author Arigon Starr on Saturday, March 22 at 10:00 am in the Bowling Green Library Atrium!

A member of the Kickapoo Tribe of Oklahoma, Arigon Starr is a singer, actor, playwright and comic book writer. She created the Native American superhero Super Indian, and her writing, editing, and artwork has been showcased in Tales of the Mighty Code Talkers. Arigon’s artwork has been featured in exhibitions at the Heard Museum, National Museum of the American Indian, and Oklahoma Contemporary.

6th and 7th grade students and teachers at BGCS, St. Aloysius, and Montessori of BG will be given free copies of Tales of the Mighty Code Talkers courtesy of the BGSU Arts Unlimited fund. Additionally, the first 50 families to attend Arigon's talk at WCDPL will recieve a free copy of Tales of the Mighty Code Talkers generously provided by the Arts Unlimited fund.
