Meet the Illustrator: Micha Archer
Join us to meet award-winning author and illustrator Micha Archer on Sunday, July 14 at 2:00 pm in the Bowling Green Library Atrium! Micha will join us to talk about her work as an author and illustrator and sign books.
Micha works in oil, watercolors, pen and ink, and collage to create layered pieces for children’s books. Books she’s worked on include Lola’s Fandango, The Wise Fool, Ezra Jack Keats-award winning Daniel Finds a Poem, Around the World in a Bathtub, Girl Running, and the Caldecott Award-winning Wonder Walkers. Wonder Walkers has also been featured in the 2024 Dolly Parton Imagination Library Blue Ribbon selection list.
La Conexión will join us during this event and have students share Wonder Walkers in Spanish.
The Mazza Museum will join us to sell copies of Micha's books during this event. Titles that will be for sale include Wonder Walkers, What's New Daniel, Daniel's Good Day, and Daniel Finds a Poem.
