Meet the Local Author: Ann Cavera
Meet local author Ann Cavera on Saturday, October 12 at 2:00 pm! Ann will join us to talk about where she finds her inspiration and her work as an author. There will be a meet and greet, discussion, and book signing.
Her newest novel, Ride a Summer Wind, takes places in 1977. Thirteen-year-old Buddie McBride gives away an old vase without asking her grandfather’s permission, and the old man is furious. She has no idea of the historical value of the vase or why it is so important to her grandfather. Unraveling the mystery will land Buddie and her friends in a summer filled with adventure and danger. A story of loss, forgiveness, faith, and hope, Ride a Summer Wind will inspire a sense of hope as well as a reminder of the value of regarding others with respect and love.
