Meet the Author: Cara Mangini
Join us to meet award-winning cookbook author Cara Mangini on Saturday, September 21 at 2:00 pm in the Bowling Green Library Atrium! Award-winning author of The Vegetable Butcher: How to Select, Prep, Slice, Dice, and Masterfully Cook Vegetables from Artichokes to Zucchini, Cara will discuss her work as a chef, creator, and author.
Cara is a James Beard Award finalist, chef, creator, and author of The Vegetable Butcher and her much-anticipated second cookbook, The Vegetable Eater: The New Playbook for Vegetarian Cooking. She draws from decades of spotlighting vegetables in her cooking, writing, professional kitchen, and her own home. Bringing together this passion and experience in her newest book, she presents approachable, crave-worthy recipes that make it second nature for home cooks to create vibrant, flavorful, vegetable-based meals. With Cara’s encouragement and expertise, everyone can be a vegetable eater!
This program will include an author discussion, a Q&A, and a book signing.
